Ever challenge yourself on a cruise?

I know when I was on my first cruise, I met a friend of mine now that he wanted to have a drink at every bar on the ship (I think he said there was technically 20 some bars to have a drink at).

Did anyone have a personal "Challenge" while on a cruise.... I'm thinking of resurrecting the drink at every bar on the Oasis in September.

I always challenge myself to always be happy and smile and for the most part it is real easy to do on a cruise.

After reading about go-go dancing in the glass elevators on the "didja ever.." thread on Carnival's Funville, I decided to do it. It was fun because I got on the elevator with two tipsy ladies and we all go-go danced.Big Smile

That is great!!! I love it! What fun!!! Big Smile

Being my first cruise, I'm just going to challenge myself to cram as much fun and memories as humanly possible into a 4 day cruise with my 4 best friends!!! Oh yes and sample a few of those yummy drinks I'm hearing about of course! Might have to add go-go dancing in the glass elevators with the girls too! lol I can tell I'm going to be busy!!! lol

Happy Cruising Everybody!!!

I know with an oasis class ship, its going to be impossible to shove all the fun in one cruise. I might resurrect the drink at every bar challenge...

Pick a "go-to" meeting place on deck. The first time I cruised with friends, we spent more time looking for each other ... The second time, we would meet at the ice cream machine. Don't forget there are house phones!

I wear a Fitbit and challenge myself to walk 5000 steps before having breakfast. After a cup of coffee and some fruit, I walk up to the track or an upper deck and get moving. I also try to limit myself to only taking the elevator when heading to and from dinner on the Elegant evening when I'm wearing heels. We always stay on the Riviera or Main deck, so I'm keeping somewhat fit while cruising and then I feel that I can enjoy a treat or two guiltfree.

I would say so... 5K before breakfast! wooo weeee... I get maybe 10K by the days end.
