Hey Cruisers what is the 1st thing that you guys do when you board your ship? My husband and I cruise with Carnival and only on ships that have a Guy's Burger Joint. We usually arrive around noon after we board the ship we head to the nearest kiosk to load our cards, then we take a peek at out stateroom (sometimes they are cleaned and ready very early and sometimes they are not) finally we head to the Lido deck and grab a burger from Guy's then comes the DRINKING......I'm curious to hear what you guys do or plan on doing if this is your 1st cruise

We stop by our room to see if it is ready. If it is we stow our gear then we go and explore. We have done our homework, so we head to the Spa to book what we need. We then take our time touring, usually filling out cards..etc.. Then we head to the Sail away party. We find our Bartender... and we settle in for a relaxing time.

We head to our room to drop off our carry ons, then head to the Lido for lunch.

Touring the ship upon arrival is an excellent idea while everyone else is on the Lido deck. I will definitely do that so that we can kind of know were everything is Happy

Drop the bags off if possible.... Bar for a drink... Buffet for food... I might try and switch it up and try a different spot for food though, but Room, booze and food are priorities.

Drop the bags in the room, lunch at the lido or the grill, tour the ship and then find a lounge chair and a bar tender...... maybe an Ice cream cone.

Head to the buffet for a byte and then see of our room is ready. Then tour and grab a drink during our touring.

Ohhh Yes, do some tours of the ship, sometimes there are raffles like at the spa or something (if you can tollerate their sales pitches, which I just let it go in one ear and out the other.

We wear our bathing suit onto the boat and go straight to the bar then the hot tub in the adult only area. No one there, quiet and relaxing.

That sounds nice. In the past it was just me and my husband cruising so heading to the adult only area was an option but we will be cruising with our 2 year old daughter this time.

We see if our room is ready and then usually grab lunch. I'm always hungry by the time I get on board!
