Dry Dock Reno Scheduled for Numerous Ships on RCCL

Found this article while looking for some news on the new waterslide on the Liberty of the seas: http://www.cruisehive.com/6-royal-caribbean-cruise-ships-refurbished-this-year/11279

I was just on the Liberty last year, and my boyfriend stated he "would have been all over that slide" if it was on it last year. Then I saw the boomerang slide in the article that they never opened due to design flaws. Very interesting in design and concept, sad and glad they did not release it to release it and kept the safety in mind.

Just curious, has anyone been on a ship pre and post dry dock? I must say, this is making me intrigued to find a cruise on Liberty again.

I was on Majesty of the Seas earlier this year, however I had never been on that particular ship but have been on ships in that class. I love Royal but was not particularly happy about this ship. Its design was crazy-- certain decks didn't go from bow to stern. You had to go up and down steps to continue straight thru the ship. I know that that is something that they cannot change, but it was often confusing. I hope that to upgrades will help. However, I don't think that I would get on that ship again unless the itinerary was perfect.
