Double Tree Hilton San Pedro, CA

Here's an idea for the site.  Maybe a section for hotel reviews from members about pre-cruise stays.

Anyone here ever stayed in the Double Tree Hotel in San Pedro, CA down the street from the San Pedro pier?  Any input about the hotel?

I'll be staying there May 3 before my May 4 cruise on the Island Princess.

You will enjoy the Island Princess. Explore the Hidden Veranda decks.

Did an internet search and found this about secret spots on the Island and Coral.  The list had several other ships with "secret" locations.  Thanks JohnGold for telling me about this.

"Aboard the Coral Princess and Island Princess are quiet forward decks; Baja and Aloha.  They’re located on the end of cabin hallways, which would explain why few people venture out there.  Some people reported the doors saying “emergency exit,” “keep door closed,” or “crew only,” but everyone reported either going out there on their own, or being told by a crew member that it was okay.  It’s windy out there, but the peace and great views might be worth it."

I have never even been to San Pedro but I am staying overnight in a ship recommended hotel in Boston before my next cruise.
