Double points for suites

I know Royal Caribbean gives double points on C&A if you have sailed in a suite. Does anyone know., off-hand, of other cruise lines who do the same or similar? I am starting to research myself but I have a newborn who doesn't sleep much and slows me down. T.I.A.

NCL does. They award you one point per night plus a bonus 1 per night if you book in a suite or Haven or if you book a Latitude special. They used to offer double points for booking more than a year out but changed that over a year ago. Their rewards program may be viewed here,

As far as I know, NCL still gives double points for booking 9 months or more prior to sailing.  It isn’t listed anymore so ask to be sure.  When I didn’t see it listed, I asked a booking agent at NCL.   We just received double points for our recent cruise.  What NCL doesn’t do, that some lines do ( I know Carnival does ), is give you the benefit of a higher tier while on a cruise.  NCL credits nights post cruise.

I’ll check the NCL site for confirmation.

Sorry for the misinformation.  There was a change in 2017 after we had booked.  Here is the new info:

You will still earn one point per cruise night and an additional point per night if you book in a Suite* or in The Haven™, or if you book with a Latitudes Insider Offer. We will no longer offer the additional point for booking nine months or more in advance. For 2017 cruises that were booked prior to February 3, 2017, the additional point will still apply; any cruise booked on or after February 3, 2017 will not qualify for the extra point. *For full fare Suites booked at the time the reservation was originally made. Does not include mini-suites. Does not apply to upgrades or upsells. If you receive a free or discounted upgrade to a Suite or The Haven you will not receive Suite points.

We must have booked before the change.

Damn that hurts.  The double points was one reason we booked our cruises so far in advance.

Oooooh, I'm gonna have to sail a NCL now! Thanks a lot. :)

Here's one of our articles with great information on this for all the major cruise lines!

Holland America offers double points for suites and penthouses.

Carnival does not.

But I think Princess does.

I'm wanting to jump ship and try a different line but the DGF likes Carnival and their prices.

Keep shopping.  sometimes other lines can meet and/or beat Carnival's prices.  Plus there are itineraries that Carnival does not cover; like the Ruby Princess cruise in September.  We still tend to return to Carnival for a variety of reasons, but it is nice to have something for comparison.  I am finding that it depends on what exactly I'm looking for at the time I book where I look.
