DON'T s when you come home from a cruise

1) DON'T ask   " why didn't the steward pick up the towels from the floor last nite ?"

2) DON'T stand in the kitchen holding a plate waiting for service

3) DON'T  decorate your front door with cruise related items.  The condo committee might object.

4)  DON'T  keep looking out your window expecting to see an island.   It only deepens the depression.

5) DON'T bother dialing 00 expecting to order room service.  You'll be waiting for quite some time.

6) DON'T worry about that funny feeling in your legs, and the fact you keep bumping into walls.  Everything will right itself shortly.

7) DON'T do your own life boat drill.  It's a waste of time, and, people look at you funny.

if you must, and if you bought the book, feel free to make your own towel animals. It will pass the time til your next cruise. Also, next time around, you can freak out you steward by leaving him/ her a towel animal on your bed.  Wink

Don't carry your drink package cup around with all of the time. I used to drink water at work out of my glass RCCL margarita glass... You know the one with the Cruise emblem on it. Not just at my desk, but I would talk to coworkers at their desk with the filled glass in my hand and would take a sip every so often while talking. They would laugh at me.

Well, I called my wife over the other day, when I was in my Hot Tub and asked her to get me a cold beer.  She is still  laughingBig Smile----and I still don't have my beer.......Sad

You must not have tipped her enough!

That must be it... I will try this evening and let you know what happens.... How much should I tip????

As much as it takes?Big Smile

I love all the "don'ts"; hope you Don't mind a couple of Do's with companion Don'ts:

Do block out the time for your next cruise and the one after that, even if it is a guess, on your department calendar or project management system.  Don't mention it every time your group discusses future vacations - the second time you do, someone will remind you that you already told them.  At least that what happened to me the last few times:-)

Do label another plastic container for the next cruise(s) where you can deposit loose change every night.  It will grow amazingly quickly and give you a little smile as you see something tangible that supports your next cruise or two.  Don't use it for any other purpose - "to thine own self be true" :-)

Yeah, i even get, "didnt you already go on a criuse?" I say," yes and i need to go on another one"

See you don't want to go on another one,  you "NEED" to go on another...... more support that cruising is an addiction Big Smile

As long as we can differentiate our wants from our needs, we will be OK.

(I am really in desperate need of that cruise in August, by the way. I don't care if I already told youBig Smile)

Your are in good company. Tell me a million times. Its like music to my ears.
