Living in Los Angeles I can play bumper cars everyday on the 405 freeway, rock climbing is about 2 miles away from me and so is an Ice rink. I think all of the new amenities are targeting the young families with kids. I have noticed that the upper shelf lines are not doing this, but they target the older more affluent clients.
I do admit to playing Mini Golf on Adventure of the Sea's, it got more challenging the more I drank and the rougher the sea got the closer to England we were. Not a lot of kids as it was a 2 week transatlantic cruise while school was in but the Mini Golf was packed with adults having fun.
I will try the Zip line when I make it aboard an Oasis class ship. Rock climbing I will not bother with. Bumper cars would be fun also. If I travel with the family and kids, then we will look for those things. As long as I am traveling with just adults I'll stick to ships without all the fun stuff for kids.
I guess at my age I prefer a good lecture series, wine tasting and Whiskey tasting.
