Do your research when booking a cruise.

Using a travel agent is great when booking a cruise or trip. Please do some research yourself about the cruise lines or hotel you plan on staying at. This can cut down on any embarrassment that could happen due to a lack of information. Hit the web pages, call the cruise lines direct or join a online group for any questions you may have. TA's are great but they don't know everything about your needs and wants. . Keep Cruising!

Maybe you need a new TA.
Mine handles all of our needs and I've never had a problem.

I'm happy with mine but I always believe a little research don't cost a thing. I had a co worker with a special need child that wanted to go on a cruise. This child can do nothing for herself and needs 24 hour care. She talked to a travel agent that told her, yes they can care for her. I said call the cruise line and make sure before you put your money down. Thank god she did! They can assist but are not certified to bathe, insert feeding tubes and change a diaper of a 14 year old child. Imagine the financial loss if she went on the word of the agent alone. Her family ended up taking a staycation instead.

A little research cost nothing, but can save you a ton of money. Just Saying!
