Do You Usually Use the Exercise Room/Health Club Onboard Ships?

I was wondering how many of you actually use the exercise facility onboard a ship when you cruise?

No. That's too much structure for me on vacation. I walk around the jogging track.

Does it count that I do walk through the gym ?    I have used the treadmills the day after the Steak House dinner.  I try and use the walking track to do a few miles a day and I take the stairs as much as I can to burn off all the good food.

I also try and hit the Spa for a massage,  that's part of the health facility.

We use the gym off and on but aren't terribly religious about it.  One thing that turned me off was being interrupted why on a machine with a sales pitch.  Now I put on head phones and avoid eye contact when I go.

I took a spa cabin once with the full intention of using the gym. The door to the gym was right outside my cabin door. I never made it into the gym, thoughBig Smile

Yes, we both do on a regular basis. I use the treadmills and do,some weights. The wife uses the elliptical machine.

Gyms ?  Treadmills ?    On ships ?    Where do they keep those?  Who are you guys cruising with ?

I am sorry to say that walking through the gym doesn't count for exercising. But I'll give you points for knowing where the gym actually is.  What works for me is telling people who do use the gym to exercise for me.

I can't believe that people actually bother you while you are exercising on the machine. To me that is very rude. I think you solve the problem by wearing headphones. Good for you.

It's OK!  You were on Vacation!  Your intentions were good, though!  Laugh, laugh.
