Do you Ever Consult the Health Inspection Records of a Ship Before You Book?

I don't usually do this for short cruises but I usually do it for cruises over seven days. I have actually changed my mind about booking a particular ship if the repot is not good. Do you consult these reports before booking?

where can we look up health and inspection records on a ship ?

Thank you for providing the link, adziev.

Here's the link to the official CDC site that hosts the Vessel Sanitation Program reports and related information.

Thank you Simon

No never really thought about it.

No not at all. I generally put my trust in the cruise line and use good judgement in food selection and other areas of concern.

I haven't in the past, but I may in the future. Thanks for the link.

definitely an interesting link though. Thank you for that!

I figure if it is that horrible, then they couldn't sail (like the Health Department closing an unclean restaurant). If it still sails, then it must be clean enough.

(I did look at the health report once, and the ship was dinged for having a fly in the area of an outside bar. It seems completely unreasonable to see a perfect score, and makes me wonder how bad it really is if it scores an 80. Just my own humble thoughts.)

I've posted safety and health links previously, so yes... I check.
