Do You Dress For Themed Nights on a Cruise Ship?

On a recent cruise we had several theme nights: A kimono night, a Dutch Night, Black & Gold Ball, Black & Silver Formal Night, Halloween Monster Mash Party, White Dinner Formal Night & Tropical Paradise Dinner. I did dress up for many of these but with weight restrictions on airlines it is hard enough as it is to pack

. I do feel though, that when you get into the spirit of things you do get more out of a cruise. Would you go to the trouble of dressing up for themed events like Halloween on a cruise? .

That would require making room in my luggage, so, no. Aside from Halloween, I can't remember a ship even having a theme night. Except for NCLs White Hot Night
