Do You Complete Cruise Line Surveys After Your Cruise?

I was wondering how many of you actually complete the cruise surveys at the end of your cruise? Do you make suggestions on how to improve the cruise experience?

I do religiously fill out every single cruise survey. I want to tell the cruise line what I feel that they are doing well and also where I think there needs to be improvement. I always mention crew members or staff members by name who impressed me with how well that they did their job.

I always fill out the post cruise survey. In the old days the survey only went to the ship, now with E-mail they go to the cruise line so you know it will not just be swept under the rug.

Yes... and I also use the in-cruise comment card for bringing things to the attention of crew during the cruise itself. It has made quite a bit of difference in getting issues addressed, such as:

1. Handicapped seating in the MDR that did not require my husband to struggle through the entire dining room to get to a table

2. Bussing tables in the cafe promptly so there were actual places to sit and eat during meal times

Both of these issues were addressed immediately once brought to the attention of the crew.

I always complete it -- how else can I have any input into how to make things better?

One time on a cruise I submitted my survey back when all surveys were entered into a drawing. I could not be present because I won big in the casino and the machine completely emptied out. It simply went berserk! My husband was searching around for those mega cups to collect my winnings.

Naturally, that was the one time that my survey was drawn. So, I didn't get the $25 because i wasn't present. Such is life!

We always provide feedback to the cruise lines

This is a good idea. I have never filled one of those out yet but I will now if I notice something that needs to be changed right away.

Absolutely. Completely. Totally. Thoroughly. Honestly. Fully. Critically. Fairly. Praisingly. Directly. Immediately. (When individual crew members perform their job exceptionally well I always compliment them face-to-face. Same thing, although it happens less frequently, when I think they need further training and call their attention to it.)

I used at always fill them out because they went into a drawing for a free cruise. I still do to let them know what was good and what needs improvement.

Yes, we always complete customer surveys. A couple years ago we sailed with a foreign line doing their maiden voyage from our home port, and whilst we thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were fantastic, there were several things we mentioned that could use improvement or change. I was delighted to find eighteen months later when we sailed again, every suggestion had actually been implemented. I know it wasn't just my lonely comments, but if the same item is repeated by other passengers, there is an obvious need to be addressed, which they did :)
