Dinner formal night

Hi everyone. When it is a 5 night carnival cruise, what night do they usually have a formal dinner night? Just curious. Thanks in advance. Big Smile

Usually, but not always, it is the first sea day.

It’s not formal these days, they call it cruise elegant instead so that folks who choose not to wear gowns and tuxes will still enjoy dinner in the dining rooms. You may see a few in formal dress, some in semi formal, some in church/summer wedding type attire and others in casual.

Hope you enjoy your cruise.

Maybe it's coincidence, but every 5 day and the 6 day voyage I've been on was the second night of the cruise was Elegant night and the 6 day it was also the second night of the cruise and on the fourth night.

For me, Elegant night gives me the feeling like prom night.

Since this is your first cruise and you'll be on a nice learning curve, I suggest you try to purchase the FTTF to help with it.

It's usually on the 2nd and 6th night of the cruise I believe.
