Different payment types for same cabin?

Hi all, I've cruised before but with DH therefore we used one cc. This time I'm travelling with my mom. Are we able to have different cc's attached to each of our folio cards? ie: her cc with her folio and my cc with mine. Or is it per cabin? TIA.

Welcome to Cruiseline!

What ship are you sailing on?

I have only cruised Carnival so I can only speak about their policies. Each cruiser has their own Sail & Sign account with a separate number. You can set up each account with separate funds or you can link both accounts to the same funding source, whether cash or credit.

The cruise line doesn't care who pays for the trip and how.. As long as the booking is paid for in full.. Yes, you can open separate accounts for individual persons.. I sail CCL and I use the website to book.. When opening an account it asks who is allowed on the account.. As long as your mom is on the same booking she should easily be able to open her own account

Hi Raine! Looks like your upcoming cruise is aboard Celebrity Solstice to Alaska – one of our personal favorites, you’ll love it! Rest assured, you and Mom can have separate accounts so everything will be split properly at the end. Have a great cruise!

Raine, if you want to be your mom's favourite child, you'd better just use YOUR cc onboard. Wink

I hope you both enjoy your cruise.Big Smile

We're sailing on Celebrity Solstice to Alaska. Soo looking forward to it.

I think I have that title in the bag as she is the one taking me!! Big Smile (I know, all the more reason to use my cc onboard)

Thank you. I'm really looking forward to it.

Nice!!! Have fun.

You can both have your own account using your own CC.
