DIETING PRE OR POST CRUISE

Now if I don't get a whole BUNCH of responses here, well, I guess its a sensitive subject, and not just for the gals either.  We just KNOW whats gonna happen on a 7-10  day affair, let alone a B2B or longer.......we each add a minimum of 5-7+ lbs...so the plan about 6 wks or so prior, we start on the rabbit food etc etc...then, once again when we get back.....when you start cruising more than once a year...it can get...well....interesting..cause there aint no way Im eating like that on board...for all I know the guy pigging out at the next table might be a cardiologist...heheh..what about you folks...you have "plan" to deal with it all???

Post, but I actually don't eat much at all unless I'm on vacation.

Diet???? Happy We don’t diet on a cruise, funny thing is we actually do better on a cruise than when we are on land. I love walking the deck and the wife enjoys the 5 minute commute to the gym. We are blessed that we have been able to cruise enough that the excitement over the food has kind of wore off. Don’t get me wrong we love to eat!

One of the things we do is we have always been late eaters. So it’s walk/gym first thing in the morning and coffee.

We hit the dining room for lunch or late breakfast and then wait for dinner. We really try to avoid the buffet, that’s where I get myself in trouble. Oh a little of this a little of that and next thing you know you need a second plate.

So far sounds like a lot of malarkey...j/k!!!! true professionals ALWAYS go thru the buffet line 2x..waiting for the true confessions folks to roll in...heheheh

Oh believe me Yankee47, I was that guy for years! Two entrees at dinner buffet morning afternoon and pizza. Let’s not forget walking by the grill and what the heck pizza was an hour ago! Give me a cheeseburger and fries! Wait did I see cookies! Well might as well have the ice cream with my cookies!

now we're getting somewhere!!!!!  I know, you've reformed!!  I don't want to clutter up this thread with MY snide comments, so I'll just sit here for another 58 days...heheheheh...minding my own biz yada yada...

We don’t diet before or after a cruise because we eat healthy all the time and really don’t change our eating while on a cruise or any vacation. Sure we might have extra desserts or treats but we use the stairs, and walk a lot to make up for any extra indulgences. Working for an international weight loss company keeps me in check too. WinkBig Smile

Gawd I cant stand it....mebbe this was a bad idea...can I delete an entire thread??? bwahahahahah

Hold on!  Malarkey you say!

When I'm on vacation I'm as big of a glutton as anyone that posts in this forum.

The Ruby Princess will have to call in a crane to pull me off the ship when the cruise is over September 29th.  Acknowledge my gluttony Mr. Yankee47!!!!!
