Did you send it back?

I've read on different forums that some people complain about the food in the MDR and even steak house.  Although I haven't always found the food I've ordered to be outstanding, I've never complained nor have I sent it back for something else because it's been palatable.

I did not send anything back but I have after tasting something and then flagged down staff and ordered something different. This was on Princess. On that cruise my mom also ordered something else after tasting her dinner.

Sent something back ? Once, in the steakhouse, to be cooked a bit longer. Usually we just order something else if what we requested is not to our liking.

Yes. I had a rubbery lobster that I sent back, and got a better one.

On my last cruise on Magic in June. I had the chicken and it was pink inside!? Took one bite and said NO WAY. I had another shrimp cocktail and left. MDR food is subpar. In the steakhouse which was very good. The filet mignon was a little undercooked but I finished it anyway. I should have sent it back since I paid the $35 for it but I didn't. I'm not much of a complainer.

I've never sent anything back, but my wife has.

Never a hassle with the waiter about it -- they just wanted us to enjoy.

I have never had occasion to send anything back. In fact on my last cruise on the Dawn a year ago we had dinner in one of the the MDR 10 of the 14 nights and of those I ordered steak of one sort or another a chateaubriand, steak diane, or other steaks with or without sauces on probably 7 or 8 nights. All of those steaks were ordered medium rare. Every single one of them came out spot on perfect. I was actually amazed and commented on it that they nailed it to perfection every single night. I don't think i have ever had a steak house on land with that good a record.

I have never actually sent anything back but I have requested a second dish and just left the dish I didn't enjoy on the table. The steak was too well done & I wanted it rare.
