Cruse Lines Remembered

Hello Fellow Cruisers, If you've been cruising for a number of years, you probably remember or have cruised on some of the lines that are no longer in business or perhaps were merged into other companies. To kick off our new Cruise Trivia Forum, I am going to begin compiling a list of cruise lines and classic cruise ships and need your help. Please post any cruise lines that fit this category. To keep it simple I will start with the ABC's and each week add a few more until we have found them all! A: American Hawaii Cruises Admiral Cruise Lines B: Bermuda Star Line C: Commodore Cruise Line Chandris Cruise Line Crown Cruise Line So put on your thinking caps and let me know any of the ABC lines that I missed! Happy Sailing The Cruise Professor

Ahhhh, Chandris Amerikanis was the first Ship we sailed. :)
Who would have thought that Chandis would have morphed into Celebrity Cruises. I sailed on a few of them under the Chandris "X". Good value and lots of fun but even in the 70's and 80's they were "classic"!
Getting ready to post the "DEF" group but before that need to add "American Family Cruises". It was really the first "family" cruise line, pre-dating Premier and Disney Cruises by several years. It was a division of Costa Cruises USA and utilized a refitted Costa Riviera to launch this new (but shortlived) project.
Premier Cruises, Starlite Cruises, Delta Steamboat Company, Sitmar, Orient Lines, Home Lines
Regency Cruises
No Fair! YOu are going out of turn! Need D E F lines.
Wasn't there a Dolphin cruise line? How about Easy Cruise are they still around?
Oops..sorry, I didn't understand the rules. I'll have to read more carefully.
For the "DEF" group, Discovery cruise line..the final days being just this past September. I confess, this thread has me waiting with baited breath for more added to the list! :)
Ok, Here goes the "DEF" nominees: Delta Queen Steamboat Discovery Cruise Lines Exploration Cruise Lines Epirotiki Cruise Line Fantasea Cruises First European Flagship Cruise Lines I am sure that there are some others. Let me know if you think of any.
