Cruising is great and so is this cruise website and forum. But what would you do?

This forum is a lot of fun and informative.  I've learned a lot and feel as if one gets to know the community with the regulars and new commers who chime in and stay.  My first day as anyone is reserved and just enjoy yet observe people around me.  I'd laugh so hard if someone approached me and asked... Are you Todd from Cruise line?  How would you react?  I know I have about 20 of you I'd say.  Yep.  I'm Todd. 😂

I'd say hello, shake their hand, and start a conversation.

Also exchange real names so we're not using forum nicks.

I would love to meet people from the forum! We've never ended up going to a "meet and greet" that have been set up on the roll calls, though.

In all my many cruises, I have never met anyone from the roll call on a cruise nor have I attempted to ... I would LOVE to meet the people I chat with on this forum ... you get that sense of "friendship" over a period of time and bet we would all have a blast!

Todd - if that is the real you in the photo, I would recognize you and since I've plastered my face all over you would probably recognize me ... However if you didn't see me,  I would run back to my cabin and put on a Russian Bubble Head Tart Costume and try to s

On our last cruise, I did meet someone at the "diamond card VIP" cocktail party.  Sadly, I have forgotten his name as we only saw them there and not again.  He asked, "are you Aunt Pinkie"?  He and his wife were very kind and explained what was going to happen at our first (so far only) diamond party.  I do wish we could have chatted longer.  I also met David from MA, from Funville on a previous cruise and I met a few others from roll calls from Funville.  We  haven't stayed in touch, but it is really cool and I will be happy to meet anyone else who might recognize me.Big Smile

We can have fun imagining what the end of that sentence is.  Yummy

I think sitting down and chatting as we sip our favorite drink, Moscato, Margarita, or Milkshake, would be very nice.  We can find out what each specifically enjoys doing on a cruise and maybe enjoy that activity together.  For example, I love the trivia sessions, anyone else want to team up regularly for that?  How about Karaoke?  Big Smile
