Cruising Alone ... Any Tips?

I am cruising from Vancouver to LA in September (all sea days) by myself.  I'm used to cruising with friends ... any tips when you cruise alone?

I have found the Piano bar is great when cruising alone,  It is more interactive then just the shows so you get to talk to more people.  Cruising alone can be more relaxing as you get to do what you want when you want and not worry about your travel companions.  I take a book or my reader with me and I just relax and read a book part of the day.

Ive been on 4 cruises alone.  Not everyone likes to cruise.  I always have fun and do what and when I want to do it.  I always meet nice people.  Single woman with friends or single woman alone.  I also meet a lot of nice groups of people.  I would say it all depends on your own personality.  Are you reclusive?  Or outgoing and not shy.  I do mind my own business and basically meet the people I want to meet.  If not.  I always find my favorite bartender and have fun with her.

Thanks - I'm outgoing but careful ... hate eating alone so will do the group dining ...

I hate dining alone as well, but as outgoing as I am, i'm awkward at first but warm up... I would not be an alone cruiser... More power to ya!

Set dinning time takes care of not having to eat dinner alone.  You will meet people on the ship,  maybe a dinner date ??????  Wink

Don't think my BF would approve of that lol

Nor my husband...I would be "dry docked" in a hurry.

What happens at sea stays at sea !!!!!!!!  or is that Vegas ?

My luck it would be plastered all over the Internet via Youtube ...
