Cruiseline.com's Homepage After Logging In

Does it frustrate anyone else that after you login to the site their homepage disappears?

Also, can some one explain to me what all the tabs are about? They don't seem very useful to me.

I'd personally love to see some sort of dashboard where I could things I've been doing on the site, etc.

Thoughts?

It’s been working for me for 6 years.  It seems fine to me.

I link straight to the forum -- I honestly didn't even realize there was a homepageBig Smile

I'll have to check that out.

JV,  you can always click on the "Cruiseline.com" logo on the upper left and it will take you to a page showing you your last activity and most latest activity of members.   Spend some time looking around the board,  tons of great information and friendly people here.  We are always happy to help when questions are asked.

A homepage? I haven't paid any attention and usually just go to the forum or excursion page.

I just found the homepage,

If you log out, then hit the logo at the top, it takes you there.

If you are logged in, it takes you to what amounts to the User CP.

Generally, I stay logged in till the system kicks me off.

I spend most of my time here in the forum. Don't pay much attention to the home page.

I don't know, I guess its just me but its annoying to have to log out to get to the homepage and then I have to log back in to like something, upload a photo, comment, etc. I think it would make more sense if it was just a separate page so I didn't have to log out and log back in again. I mean I do use more of the site than just the forum.

I just think that this logged in screen would be cooler if I could see my saved searches and see what's going on with the ships and lines that I have chosen to follow. Oh, here's one ... how about seeing who has liked or commented on my photos and reviews instead. Idk. Just seems like this screen could be better.

You don’t have to log out.  You can just hit the  HOME tab near the top left.
