Cruise Vacation vs All Inclusive Vacation such as Sandals

Has anyone tried the all inclusive vacations by Sandals ...How do they compare to a cruise in terms of price and likeability?

I've been looking into this and for what I pay to cruise, it's close to the same price but Sandals is all inclusive.

I've looked into them and keep deciding to cruise. The main reason I just love being at sea. I still enjoy going to bed and waking up in a different port.

You usually can't leave the resort

Have done both. Best deal for ensuring money spent is an all-inclusive land vacation. That said, I prefer cruising. One of my two top vacations I ever took was an all-inclusive. NEVER had to worry about money as we did fun activities and totally relaxed with ZERO money worries.

BUT - currently, of the two - cruising is my #1 choice today (and probably tomorrow too).

Top vacations;

Singapore

Hawaii (many, many times, over 10)

Disneyland, Magic Kingdom , EuroDisney- 25 plus times.

Alaska (cruise, and follow-up land trip)

Jamaica (all inclusive resort)

European Med  Cruise

Caribbean cruises - 8 plus

West coast cruises - 3 plus

Future cruises (yet to be determined)

Happy memories, happy times. Nice life. Best wishes to all who happen to read this.

We haven't been to an all inclusive in many years, but we did really enjoy it. We could choose from a variety of excursions to take, or explore on our own. We were in Cancun, so it was easy to explore the area.

Being single I've never been to a resort.  Their I would feel like a complete LOSER.  It's not too bad on a ship.  I just say my girl is taking a nap.  It gets suspicious sounding after awhile though.Surprised

I have not done both--yet. My son has. If you want to golf, horseback ride, play tennis,  rent a car then the all inclusive may be for you. Cruising is different, and while I always golf at one point when I cruise, it is not as much as I would with an all inclusive. Next year the whole family will be in Hawaii for a golf vacation at our time share. Very much like an all inclusive.... still --I love cruising.

I like single vacationing and it's doesn't bother me to say so and it may surprise you there are more than a few solo female cruisers.

Yep Ctav... When cruising I would like to meet a single lady.  On my first cruise I did.  It was.... She was... A lot of fun. Errr.. Meant delightful.... I don't look... It's fun when I get picked for someone's fancy.   Hasn't happened for awhile though.  All good.

I like single cruising and I'm married ... and you are right, there are a lot of solo cruisers... I guess I just don't pay attention to what other people think and whether they wonder if I am by myself...
