cruise to hawaii in febuary weather conditions

Hi my name is Patti.

I'm new to this forum. I booked a cruise From La to Hawaii for February, can anyone tell me what the weather will be like in February, how the ocean will be,, has anyone taken a cruise at that time of year? I'm from Minnesota and wanted to go somewhere warm for the winter. I'm wondering if the ocean is going to be very rocky at that time of year? I am thinking about changing the cruise to a different month. Thanks in advanced

Well, we took our first cruise to Hawaii in Feb 2009. We have been hooked since. We caught a bit of rough water on the way, but not for long. In Hawaii, we went Kayaking in Hilo, Spent the day at the Cultural Center on Oahu, Had a great day touring Maui and went Golfing in Lihue. We are from Northern Alberta so in February, any day above freezing is a blessing. The weather is fair to good the whole island chain. You might get rain, but then again, you might not. The cruise is a wonderful trip and well worth the time and effort to plan ahead and select excursions to suit your interests. Have fun and enjoy being hooked on cruising.

Makes me want to do one....

My ex-Daughter-n Law did this cruise last year, well, Because we spoke so highly of it for the past 9 years. Her husband really enjoyed the experience as it was only his 2nd cruise. We are looking to do a whole family cruise to the Islands as soon as the new baby ( My sons 2nd baby) is old enough. With current family and exes---(yes... they are still family) We may get up to 17 people.... I know it's a bit crazy, but the Islands beckon us all.
