I appreciate you sharing your experience. Sorry to hear that you appear to be experiencing similar cutbacks on NCL as we have experience over the years with Holland America Line (HAL). HAL used to be a great cruise line and they are still very good in our eyes, but at least to us it appears that continuous cutbacks have been made on HAL, resulting in a less enjoyable experience. In HAL's case, I can only wildly speculate that perhaps their parent company, Carnival (who also owns Cunard) , is behind their apparent cutbacks. Now we will be sailing on the Epic. Ironically, this will be the first time we are sailing NCL, in hopes of finding a cruise line that has not made similar cutbacks, but, as I read many of the posted comments (complaints), I am now fearing that perhaps NCL is making similar cutbacks too. We still look forward to NCL with an open mind.
