Cruise Ports. Wanna go back?

A list of the seven worse ports for a repeat adventure. I've never been to two of them, but as for the rest, I look forward to return visits. Other comments?

We like Halifax.  I agree with Nassau being on the list.

I agree with the list but I have not been to Bahrain or Flan so I would still like to go to those ports. In fact, I have friends who work in Bahrain.   If I never see Nassau again, I will be happy but then again, some people love it.

I learned long ago to not use the word "never", because you'll end up doing whatever you just professed to never do again.  But these ports are worth at least one visit and if the ship is going there and I don't want to see it again... I can just stay on-board. That said, I do not need to revisit Ocho Rios, again.

Nassau is a great place where I can have the ships waterslide to myself, catch up on the students emails and grade assignments!

Ochos Rios - enjoyed it the first time, not sure I will be doing excursions again, but would go maybe once more

Have only been to Nassau and Ocho Rios.  I would like to go back to Ocho Rios, but we are staying on the ship in Nassau next month.

Waterslide to yourself - lol. I guess even a 'bad port' for someone is still a good reason to have fun for someone else. Very nice!

Staying on the ship on a port day is great.........I do that with Ensenada Mexico.   Living in Los Angeles I have hit that port over a dozen time.   I have even drove down for the day a couple times.

I have only hit 3 on that list but I'd like to visit most of the rest of them at least one.

How is the cruise to Ensenada Mexico? Considering that cruise in December!

We've only visited Nassau on the list, and while we enjoyed our day there, we have no plans to go back. Friends have said that they have a local taxi driver take you to see his favourite places, and that can be a lot more interesting and insightful than booking excursions. It's all about what you make of your vacation time.

I would love to answer this for you, but we were there in 1998 on our first cruise.  We fell in love with cruising then so all of my memories of that are guilded with such a positive spin that my answer would be slightly skewed.  Try it you just might like it.Big Smile
