Cruise Job

If you worked on a cruise ship - what job would you want to have?

What job do you think you would likely have based on your work history?

I would want to work as the Future Cruise Specialist/consultant.

However, based on my work history I would be most qualified to run the Children Programs.

Customer service, because I really like my customers. My personal customer mantra is.

the customer is not always right. they are never wrong... but they are not always right.

It has served me well for 42 years in customer dealings.

Electrician, because I am one. and I like working on solving electrical problems.

Never a Bartender... to many samples--- never get through a shift....

By training, Youth programs. By passion... shopping consultant, my DH say I have a black belt in shopping. I'd enjoy working the shore tours desk. I could call the BINGO numbers reasonably well.... hmmm....assistant cruise director has a nice ring to it. I'll think on it some more.....

Well there is no way I could work with passengers. I would say security.

I'd g for art sales....... that way Im working for the art gallery and have better hours, better cabin and can enjoy ship life more.

I would like to work with the youth program, the shore excursion desk, front desk or photo department. I would also like working on the social director's team. Believe me, the staff work very hard and long hours on ships. I think that I like better just paying and being a guest on board.

I just asked my husband the same question and he immediate answered he would want to be Captain. He captains virtual ships on the Internet almost daily. I tell him that I am already "Captain" at least on this site. I have a plaque with my name on it to prove my title LoL. I don't think, though, that this qualified me to actually captain a real cruise ship. It would scare me to death to try to dock on of those mega ships. My husband would welcome the challenge.

I think "Secret Shopper" would be the best job to haveBig Smile

If not that, then Security Officer.

What about permanent guest? Is that an option?

The guy who cleans toilets in common areas.
