Cozumel - Best beach excursion with a Toddler (20 months old)?

Please give recommendations of nice excursions and/or beaches in/near Cozumel to take a 20-month old.  We'd like a sandy beach that doesn't just drop off into rocks and reef.  A restaurant/cafe for lunch and a nice bar for the adults would be a plus!

I have read that Mr. Sancho's is very nice, and a family friend just recently went there on their last cruise. I think most cruise lines offer a package to this resort.

I have been doing a lot of research my self as we will be taking a family cruise next summer with (our soon to be 4 year old) toddler. I found a resort excursion (El Cid Resort) that is all inclusive, relativity close to the ship (in case of a melt down) and doesn't charge for children under 8. But I believe it might be a rocky type beach. It was also an excursion not offered through the cruise line, so I am a little iffy on booking it. You still have a few days to look and find something. I hope you figure something out to do, and I hope you all enjoy your trip!

Thank you DWallker19!

I was looking at Mr. Sancho's just based on the pics of the beach. Toddlers in tow really add a twist to planning!

They really do! This will be our 3rd cruise but I feel like its our 1st one since we will have out little man with us. I did a little research on the El Cid resort yesterday, and even though they offer free admission to kids 8 and under, the reviews were horrible. I think we will pay the little bit extra and go to Mr. Sanchos.

I would go with DWalker19's advice.
