It is unfortunate that this one experience has soured you on Princess. However, in light of the many cruises affected by one virus or another, I think I will side with the cruise line on this one. You are right to be upset with the lack of response from the medical team, I would be as well as that really is inexcusable. I would correspond with the customer service at the cruise line and enlist your travel agent with this matter.

Maybe before you book, speak with your travel specialist or the cruise line directly to determine their policies and procedures where it related to the situation you experienced.
