concern about Mexico excursions

Do I need to worry about going on these excursions with all the earthquakes?

Hi jianita. It doesn't look like the earthquakes have affected the cruise port areas. There are some west coast cruisers who will likely provide some feedback. In the interim, welcome to the forum, check out the reviews and have a great cruise!!

Welcome to the forum. It is unlikely you will have any problem. We have had shore tours cancelled for bad weather or some such....if there is an apparent danger the shore tour will be cancelled by either the operator or the ship.  Just keep in mind, earthquakes unlike hurricanes and tornadoes don't give much warning.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the others that there isn't any warning of an earthquake. Go, relax on your cruise and have a fun time.

We are a friendly group who love cruising, so please be sure to ask any other questions you have and we will do our best to answer.

I think that you have more to worry about drinking alcohol in Mexico.  Someone is adulterating bottles there.  Please be careful.

Thanks

I wouldn't worry at all. A few cruises ago, last March; we were on an excursion in MX and the volcano we were traveling by erupted. The cruise line handled everything in a very professional manner and we never felt as though we were in any danger at all. We even got a credit for that excursion and my Husband who is a geologist said he would have paid extra for that trip !! 13 days to next cruise (Cuba)
