Cheers promo

I have a quick question. I already have a couple of cruises booked, but I just received a Cheers promo for this included in cruises if booked before 4/16/2021. Can I add this to an existing booking? I understand the rate would increase, but wondered if anyone has done this or if it possible. Would I lose anything I already have ( onboard credits etc? Thank you.

That is a question that you need to ask the cruise line about. Give them a call

Well...no you wouldn't, but it becomes a matter of strategy...If you add it now, depending on the line, you might have to pay for it now, or at least when the balance is due for the cruise...if you have enough OBCs, you buy it later, even if it costs more, and let the lines pay for it.....but OGW is right....call and ask....

It's worth asking the cruise line directly.

IF you are getting a good deal for the Cheers promo, all you can do is call your travel professional or the customer service number on your booking confirmation and ask. As long as your current booking meets the conditions of the promo (ie no more than 2 in the cabin), then there is no reason for Carnival not to accept the change. Just be prepared though to lose any and all of your previous promo perks by changing promo codes. (Don't worry about CS cancellation perks like FCC/OBC that is separate.) SO if you had a reduced deposit promo you will need to be able within 24 hours of making the booking change pay the "normal" per person deposits or lose the cruise altogether.

If you have a TA then call him/her to clarify any concerns you may have to ensure you make the right decision.

It would be best to contact the cruiseline. Clarify your queries with them.
