Charging for use of exercise bicycles?

Hi all

I just read a review which noted that Princess was charging for use of exercise bicycles.  Seriously... is this true?  They must be really special bikes.

It might have been for the Spinning Class -- use of the equipment without the class is free (I thought).

Yeah, I know spinning class is an extra.  The review did not mention it as a class... it was simply the charge of using a bike.

Wow...that would truly be shameful if it were just for the bike.  I'm thinking it's for a class.

Has to be for spin... How else are they going to regulate it then? Swipe your sea pass card for the peddles to move?

Fortunately, every time I get on one of those bikes, I find myself at the top of the worlds longest hill. I never have to pedal a lick.  Yummy

I wouldn't use the bicycle if I had to pay to do so.  You can get just as much exercise walking up and down the stairs - that is what I do on cruises.  I rarely take the elevastor.

I think this has to be the reason.  I haven’t seen anything about charging to use the gym, only for the organized classes.
