complaint Carnival Triump

In response to review, TERRI1962 says ...

I have to agree the TRIUMPH is not a cruise its a smelly boat ride in the GULF that takes you to Cozumel and some concrete plant in PROGRESSO, MEXICO ‚ that serves cheap CORONAS pretty awesome. Sorry you to had to experience the nightmare on the TRIUMPH but chalk it up as an experience and move on to the next adventure. Just curious did you have to step over the industrial fans every time you left your stateroom ?‚ ‚  Carnivals way of masking that lovely stench smell.

A ship is eco system and it takes one person not following the rules and use the toilet to flush trash and they just can't shut down that side of the ship to fix the problem.

They find beer cans, beer bottles and the like in the sewer system because people refuse to follow the rules.

Ports can be changed due to what ever reason and there isn't a lot that can be done about it. Understanding that passengers will be upset over it, but it's time for you to get over that you were not able to port where you wanted to. Also, you never did post the reason they gave you.

Not sure where your berthing area was on the ship. If it is on the lower decks, well... Sh_t rolls down hill. I always book upper deck/balcony. I also read a lot of complaints about Progresso. Why does CCL still call on that sh_t hole?

Very good question , I for one think Progresso is a cash cow for CARNIVAL and a complete disappointment for the passengers...... Zero bang for the buck period.... Yes I agree that there are other ports highlighted on this Forum such as Nassau , Ensenada , that are not the best but at least u can see a tree a house a something but not one but two concrete plants on both sides of the ship so yes PROGRESSO and I have said farewell .

The plumbing system on ships seems to be a weak point.‚ Most of the time problems are caused by people flushing things down that shouldn't go down.‚ I agree, however, the smell it not pleasant.‚ Luckily all of my staterooms have never had a problem.‚ Years ago, back in the 80s it was even more of a problem.
