Carnival Scheduled check in

The newly instituted scheduled check in system saves some of the mob confusion. When you go online to enter your preferences, you can select your boarding time in half hour blocks. You can check in late, but you cannot enter the terminal until your appointed time.

We had staggered check in for the first time on our last cruise and we loved it.

I was not sure that it would help instead of making things worse, but last month in Miami made a believer out of me.

On paper, it seems that it should work (as long as the passengers obey the rulesNervous). So far, though, I have not experienced it.

Yep, should make boarding your ship quicker and easier!

Love it

It seems to be working.  Not as many frustrated passengers boarding.

Is you are on Slender out of FLL, let know how well it works. I'm still waiting on it to show up so I can select my boarding time.

I have yet to pay off my cruise so I can not see my boarding pass.  Im sailing out of Port Canaveral.  Will a boarding preference show up when I get my boarding pass??

I am not paid in full either, but I can see my boarding time.  If you go to Cruise Manager and go to Online check-in, there should be a box on the left, along with the ones for setting up your S&S account and accepting your cruise contract.  Mine just showed up about a month ago, so keep checking :)

I sure will.  Miami was great and I'm hoping for the same for FLL.

Thanks a lot.  I had no idea it was there...  I took care of it.  1230 to 1pm check in.  Hope it works.
