In response to review, CrusinTim says ...

So if you had known prior to the cruise that your two 10 year olds would be so distressed with the slide being closed, you would have cancelled and rebooked on another ship??? Because of the waterslide being closed? Was there NOTHING else to do onboard for them? I'm sure they closed the slide for a reason. Better for them to close it as opposed to having your 10 year olds get injured using it. A cruise is an adventure within itself. When we took my then 12 year old niece on the Carnival Pride some years ago, her biggest excitement for her was riding the glass lifts up and down.

So sorry to read that the kids were so disappointed that the water slide was closed.‚  I hope that they get to go on another cruise soon where the water slide is operational.‚
