For future reference, make sure you get the name of the crew member as they should all be wearing name tags. Then, go to the customer service desk and file a complaint. Crew members like this are the ones cruise lines are trying to identify and correct or eliminate if they are an ongoing issue. Now, what about the rest of the cruise such as the food, the cabin the entertainment etc ? I hope your not basing your 1 star on the bad attitude of one crew member.

Thank you for posting your review. Could you more details pertaining the rating of "1"? How was the balance of your cruise? It sounds as if there were other negative experiences to have warranted such a low rating but it would be helpful to have more details. Thank you.
I was sorry to read that you encountered a rude crew member. I hope that you reported the incident to the front desk and on your survey. From the smiley faces that you gave your cabin, entertainment and your port of call in Cozumel, I would have thought that your star rating would have been higher. One encounter with a thoughtless crew member should not have ruined your entire cruise. Even though it was close to closing time, the crew member should have given you a few minutes just to walk around the facility.
Interesting. I was on that very cruise, along with my daughter. While I was not in the gym at the same time you were and am not a gym user, I did walk through it while checking out the ship and looking for my kid at Circle C. Every Carnival staff person who noticed me was polite and inviting, even though I didn't spend more than about a minute in the place. I do notice one thing about Carnival name tags: the name of the wearer is in a larger font size than the name of the wearer's home country. Too bad you let one negative interaction sour your opinion of the entire cruise. Even worse, you could have done something about it and chose not to.
