Carnival Ecstasy June 22

In response to review, CrusinTim says ...

So I am a little confused! It seems you were happy with the cruise except for the fact your friends illness kept you from doing many things the ship offered. If that's the case, I don't feel 3 stars is fair. It wasn't that the ship failed you, it was that you were kept from doing the things that you enjoy because of your friend. All due respect, you can't blame the cruise line or ship in that case!!

Thank you for posting your review.  I agree w/CrusinTim as far as your rating of the experience.  Your experience was clearly dimmed by your cabinmate's health but it wasn't a cruise line or ship matter.  Hopefully, when you cruise again, everyone in your party will be healthy and able to do more.

I agree with you, as far as the experience goes. I wasn't going to review at all due to the circumstances. I should have left that out completely. I wasn't really happy with the cruise ship in general as much as I could be.

There was a urine smell in the bathroom the whole time I was there.

The people (crew) weren't as friendly as on the Royal Caribbean (dining room, buffet, bar, etc) and I am extremely friendly, due to my occupations-sales, singer)

The food in the buffet was ok, but alittle to be desired.

I have been either in customer service, or people oriented businesses my whole life. I am more than happy to give accolades where they are due.

The 3 star review put it in the category of "good-would recommend it to someone"...I thought it deserved between 3 and 4 stars.

For the price, it was excellent. You cant beat the price for what you get.
