Canadian members - Nexus question

We are trying to decide if it will be worth it for us to apply for a Nexus card. We only travel to the states where there are Nexus entries a couple of times a year, but have heard that the Nexus holders proceed much faster through airport security. We can apply online but need to drive the 4-5 hrs to Vancouver for the interview.

What are your thoughts and experiences?

I know a few folks who have the card. They are travelling up to 60 time a years in and out of the states.I'ts worth it for them as they also have bought package of air fares due to the business they do. Unless you travel a great deal, you may not need it. I know that Monique and I have spoken about it, but decided against it--for now.

Sorry I can't answer your question but I'm sure that someone here will be able to help you.

Thanks Johngold. If we were in Edmonton it would be easy to just drive out to the airport for the interview, but a long drive through the mountains to Vancouver just for that does seem a bit crazy. Especially since we don't travel stateside often.
