Cabin Cleaning

Carnival, on some of their ships, is experimenting with presenting its passengers on their first day with a form asking them when they preferred their cabins to be serviced - morning, evening, or both.

What's your feeling about cabin cleaning?
* I prefer twice a day service
* I have no preference about how often a cabin is serviced
* I prefer once a day service - morning or evening

I prefer twice a day. That's part of the pampering cruise experience that I look forward to.

I like the twice a day as well, however depending on the BFs mood, he may sleep in and we miss the first round of cleaning.

I like once a day in evening

As someone who got started cruising prior to the mega ship revolution, I prefer the old ways.  Our cabin was attended to virtually every time we left it.  Our steward would come in 4 to 6 times a day.

My guess is CCL is doing this as yet another service cutting, cost saving measure.

I don't mind once a day in the evening as long as we can get fresh towels if needed.

Perfect!!!!!

Once a day works for me, in the evening.

Like Deke01, I remember when it was serviced anytime you left the cabin.  Now they have fewer cabin stewards covering more cabins and the industry has put a limit on number of hours a cabin steward can work (learned that on a behind the fun tour). So that means less.. still I prefer twice a day.

I prefer twice a day. It's part of the pampering I enjoy on a cruise.

I'm a twice a day kinda guy.

I like that they are asking, period.  Ultimately, it looks as though they might be trying to find efficiencies with crew timing and scheduling (and possibly number of).

We prefer twice a day. Now more than previously, we tend to use our cabin more.  We aren't slobs but it is nice to have the cabin kept tidy. That's pretty much how we live at home as well. I can't stand clutter.
