Bucket List

Have you ever crossed anything off of your bucket list while on a cruise?

I have. We did zip lining over a rain forest in Antigua and I went swimming under a waterfall in a rain forest in Dominica.

Visit Victoria Canada. Been there twice now on cruises and going a third time in May on Island Princess. There are more exciting things on my list that I hope to do on future cruises. The biggest two are do a long Med cruise visiting the places my dad did back in 1968 and sail the straights of Magellan.

Walked along the Great Wall of China because of our first cruise. Finally visited the Southern Hemisphere and the southernmost city in the world (Ushuaia) thanks to a cruise last year. Couldn't quite afford an attempt at setting foot on Antarctica that time but it's good to always keep something back to try for at a later date.

Yep. Visited French Polynesia and went around Cape Horn. Two big bucket list items. Still working on Pitcairn's Island...

On my life list, I have first gone on a cruise, second been on an Alaskan cruise, third the Panama Canal full transit and fourth reached diamond level on Carnival. I still have the trans-Atlantic cruise and a riverboat cruise that currently are on the list. I keep adding more cruise related items as we cruise, like I'm thinking of adding the trip around the British Isles to the list. The Mediterranean to consider, but it isn't on the list yet as there are so many more things I want to do first.

I crossed off Alaska, Italy, France, Spain, Hiked to top of Mt. Vesuvius and looked in, the Greek Islands and transatlantic cruises both ways.

I still have a lot more on my list..... I have to work on that.

Alaska and panama canal

Yes, I have crossed off a lot of places on my cruises . The main one was staying in a thatched hut over the lagoon in French Polynesia. Also I always wanted to visit Petra and got to do so when our port of call in Egypt got cancelled and changed to Jordan. Other recent cross offs were Australia, New Zealand, China (the Great Wall) and Japan. On my nest cruise,I will get to cross off Iceland & Greenland.

I have a world map in my hallway. I get to add new light up pins when I travel to a new destination. My grand kids love to see the map lit up. I am instilling in them a love of travel.

I've done (or have booked) about all of the Caribbean and an Alaskan cruise.

Still to do are Mediterranean, Northern Europe, TA, TP and Hawaii.

I'm sure that as I do each of those, more ideas will join the bucket list (such as Asian/China/Japan, various Australian itineraries, or just get them all done with a 120 day world cruise!)

We have foreign exchange students abd have and have been invited to go to Korea. Hopefully we willdo

e day.
