Does anyone know if you can buy the "Dive In" movie blankets. I found out you can buy them on the ship too late on our March cruise. I looked on the website but didn't see anything. I thought maybe I was missing it.

Sorry! I can not find any online channels to buy one and did not see anything on the site.
Hi Deniseg
I can honestly state that I have no idea what a dive-in blanket is. Is it like a snuggie?
LOL!!! It is a really soft fleece blanket they use on cool nights at the Dive In movies. You can buy them on the ship.
Here it is.
I see one was listed on eBay for more than double its original price. With that kind of mark-up I think you should just watch for a great price on a quick cruise to get one from the source. You may even be able to pick up some extras and sell them to offset the cruise! (Of course if I tried that they would be selling the blankets themselves before I even got home…
)
Which cruise line offered those?
Carnival
I saw the blankets on Ebay too. Wasn't sure if the blankets were a "give" or an item you have to check out and return once the movie is over.
They loan them to you during the movie if it's cool out but you can also buy brand new ones. Just like you can buy the robes and beach towels they offer you to use.
WeCruiseToo, I think I will be waiting until our cruise next year. LOL
The fact is that much of the logo merchandise you only have one chance to buy--aboard. I have been researching ways to obtain logo items for particular ships I've been on. I started collecting logo ship materials mostly for old, scrapped ships. I have nothing to show from the cruise lines' Home Offices except polite letters. The ones that are still in service will NOT sell or distribute merchandise outside the ship. I was lucky to find examples of collectibles from ships still sailing by searching eBay and websites specializing in nautical collectibles.
