Best thing you have seen while on deck

When we are onboard we enjoy spending time on deck. As I like to tell new cruisers you never know what you are going to see.

For us,

Alaska:  Saw whales bubble feeding of the back deck.

San Francisco:  Blue angels practicing as we left port.

Los Angeles: A huge school of Dolphin

Hawaii: Cruising past the Beautiful Napali Coast.

these are a few of ours, what are yours?

Bast thing I have seen on deck is...... the embarkation port getting smaller and smaller as the ship pulls out of port and the cruise is officially starting.

In Alaska, the huge pod of whales feeding off the port side.

In the Caribbean, approaching Puerto Rico and seeing the fort guarding the island.

The locks in the Panama Canal.

In Alaska, it was a baby seal floating on a small glacier basking in the sun ,,, happy happy happy

In Caribbean, it's seeing any island as we approach - knowing I'm getting to explore it.

And of course, any sunrise or sunset anywhere on the ocean

A pod of dolphins in the Pacific.  It wasn't a mega-pod but it was quite large.

I was just reminded by my wife, we saw the Northern lights for the first time this year. We were leaving Juneau. It was awesome!
