Best Cruise for a Family Reunion Cruise

Just searching for ideas, I have a very large family and I thought a cruise would be great since they already provide lodging and food and also entertainment in the price...we could just sail and find adventures on the islands 🏖

Again just looking for ideas to bring to the Family Vacation meeting

Thanks in advance Everyone ‼Happy

We have a blast on our family cruises, and we end up spending less than we do when we do a land vacay.  If you like beach time, an itinerary that includes Half Moon Cay or whatever private island the cruiseline offers would be a good choice.

Also, some of the larger ships have awesome waterslide areas.  If you are taking young kids, our grands loved Camp Ocean.  Our five year old grandson is normally shy and doesn't do well with new experiences at first.  He actually begged to go to Camp whether the others were going or not.

Most of the adults in our family enjoy the spa, so you might want to check into spa passes or even spa cabins if budget allows.  Personally, I would rather go to the dentist than the spa Big Smile

Check out YouTube videos of ships you are considering.

Also, make sure everyone understands exactly what is needed in the way of passports, birth certificates, etc, and be sure they know to read the cruise contract so there are no surprises.

Good luck, and I hope you get your wish :)

A cruise offers something for everyone. You can spend as much time together going to the shows, hanging out on the Lido decks, or as little time together as you want. There are busy, noisy activities or quiet spots to relax and read. The dining room offers suggestions for vegetarians and meat lovers alike, and the Lido buffet has so much to choose from, you won’t know where to start. No matter what age or gender, a cruise is a great way to spend a family reunion.  If your family members choose different excursions in the ports, it will be fun to share your day with each other over dinner at the end of the day.

Have fun planning!

A cruise is an excellent idea for a family reunion. The hard part is picking the line and venue for the cruise. I wish you well in this endeavor and if there are any questions at all please feel free to post them here and we will be happy to try to help. Cheers.

Thank you so much, I will put all this very helpful  information to good use....my family is going to love this.

Thanks, Awesome ‼‼‼‼

Thanks

We haven't been on Disney, but if I was in the market for a family oriented cruise line like you are, that line would be the first one I would look hard at. I understand they cater to the adults as well as the children. You might also check out the Disney ship reviews for more peer group detail. Here is one view of the best going in that regard for 2018---  https://travel.usnews.com/cruises/best-cruise-lines-for-families/

Is that you aunt  ladybug ?

I think that's a great idea and a great way to bring the family together. Hope you guys are able to make it work.
