Best beach excursions

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a beach excursion in Jamaica. I can't make up my mind. I was going with the VIP beach bash at the Bamboo but then wondered should we pay more for Mangos or Rose Hall? I like the idea of getting to try jerk chicken and local cuisine.

We went to Bamboo beach when we were there.  The female staff are rather aggressive when it comes to tips.  If they see you with money they watch you like a hawk.  The booze was good, the food was decent enough.  The beach was nice and the water was fantastic.  I recommend it as it was overall, a decent excursion!

Thank you for this advice. I've decided to take itHappy.  One more question... How much is the expected tip there?  It's so expensive I thought that would be included.

Tip is really up to you.  There were some that did not tip and others that did.  If I receive good service, meaning that my drink is always taken care of and they are friendly, generally I tip an excursion between $10 and $20.  That may seem like a lot to some but to me, if you go out for a decent meal, you will tip that.  Plus that money goes a long way where they live.

Also, note the missus in the middle with the bandanah around her head, if she see you with money in your hand, she watches you like a hawk.

Are any of the beach excursions all inclusive? Or is it a pay for drinks/food?? I'm looking into a few and reviews are sometime polarized

I would highly recommend the VIP Bamboo beach club. We were there in early November of last year and it was great. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. I never had an empty glass at my disposal while there. The beach is nice and the atmosphere very comfortable. And no pushy sales people. They even had a nice stand there selling Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee beans (which I got a 1 lb bag for my son) and they also sold bottles of Blackwell Black Gold Rum which is a fine sipping rum that I was very happy to find there.

I took this in combo with the Dunn's River Falls tour. That was also very worth it. A very beautiful place and the climb was fun. The only sown side was all the hawkers at Dunn's River trying to sell things.

Bamboo is all inclusive.  And let me tell ya, you find the right waitress and she keeps them coming at regular intervals.  The missus with the bandanah was watching and any time that my drink was half gone, she was bringing another
