Best Air Flight Ever!

Wish I knew how to post this on the news to counter the negative press all the airlines have received recently ....

Southwest Flight 6007 on 4/29 Long Beach to Las Vegas was the best airline flight I have ever taken!

Our plane was late getting in from Denver but once there, the Captain really stepped it up getting people to board, sit down and take off ... he was great!  Then the flight attendants were super friendly and hustling to serve drinks on this vary short flight!  Then they had everybody close their window curtain so it was dark and turn on their cabin attendant light above (all these little lights were glowing in the dark in the whole plane) and entire plane sang happy birthday to someone.

BUT best of all, Dale Evans granddaughter was a flight attendant and sang Happy Trails to You over the PA system .... think it was Mimi who used to sing at end of show ...how cool was that!?

And to top it off, pilot made up for lost time and we landed 10 minutes early.

Now that was a crew dedicated to making the flight one of the best I've ever flown.

Anybody have connections with SWA to see that this crew gets special kudos from Southwest?

So happy you had a great flight.  We enjoy flying SW for that very reason.  Our recent trip from Dallas to Denver was delayed due to lightening strikes and thunderstorms in Dallas.  We sat on the tarmac for almost two hours, but the flight crew tried to keep it upbeat.  Our favorite SW flight was one where the had the right side of plane competing with the left side for drinks and extra snacks.  Our side lost.Crying

Has anyone ever taken a train flight ?

was Trigger in the hold of the plane?

did she have a tip jar out ?

Lol - there were only about a half a dozen people who even knew who Dale Evans was believe it or not...this other woman and I sang along to Happy Trails and knew every word ....

I didn't need to know that so many don't know Dale Evans and Roy Rogers.Crying

Now I can't get the song out of my mind.
