Bed Bug Alert

Saw this on Shark Tank last night and thought I might share with those of you concerned about Bed Bugs ...http://buggybeds.com/

Interesting concept to "prevent or detect" infestation ...

Good idea, if it works.   Preying on paranoia.  Interested to know if anyone has tried these.  What is the attractant made of ?

Just read further.....these are only a way to detect an issue.  You would still need to call an exterminator.    Ideally you would place one in each corner of the bed ( travel pack only has two monitors, but would be sufficient ).  You would also want to place one in each suitcase before you leave, and check them when you got home ( outside or in a garage I presume ).     Like I said, it's a good idea, if it works.

just checked on Amazon. Reviews are less than stellar.

Watch the re-run of Shark Tank - they had a lot of questions answered about the product and did buy into it.

I saw part of it.  Like I said, reviews on Amazon were roughly 3-31/2 stars.

I like my way.  I bring a half page lighted magnifier.  As soon as we get to the cabin, I check the bed corners.  I have yet to see a brown spot ( blood ) or a bug.

I had never given it a second thought until I saw the posts here ...

Well, here's to a good nights sleep..........

They say isopropyl will kill bed bugs, getting it on the ship is a different problem.

We did have a bed bug problem, once. On a luxury line of all places. Didn't make us paranoid though.

Here is a rehash of a lot of good pertinent comment: http://cruiseline.com/forum/post/bed-bugs
