Are you a Roller, Vacuumer or Cuber?

I used to "roll" my clothes to pack and then I tried the vacuum bags (great going but not so great coming home).  I bought a few packing cubes which I like for organization.  I realized I had a zillion clear plastic cases that sheets and pillowcases came in and started using those.

What method do you use to pack?

Military upbringing taught me the Roll.

I'm old school sort of and still like packing the old way. I thought about the cubes as they do have some nice looking ones out there.

I make my outfits and roll them.. I bring some ziplock bags for dirty/wet pieces on the way home. When I'm ready to get dressed, I grab one roll and it has my unmentionables, shirt and pants.

For suits and dress shirts I pack the morning of in a hard side garment case and for the others, is done GI packing roll and tuck with socks and other small items are stuffed in shoes and small places.

I'm a fold and packer. Although I tried rolling the last work trip I had to make, and I may try that this time.

I'm old school pack and fold.  If I need my tux my large case has a suit bag in it.   Om my last cruise I did a carry on size soft side suite case and a back pack,  I was good with that for a week.

Vacuum bags.  And we bring one large one for laundry that didn't get washed.  We borrow the stewards vacuum.

I'm a cuber, and love to have everything organized in them.

I pack as flat as I can and tuck the socks and underwear as tightly as I can into what ever space is left.  I only bring one roller suitcase and one carryon with toiletry items.

When we were on Princess they had service go around to those who asked for it with a vacuum and extra bags and stuff. e had thought about doing that, but never got to that point.
