I'm thinking of getting away on a cruise for a week or two and don't mind being a while at sea. Wondering if repositioning cruises are the lowest priced (per day) usually? Any other types of cruises with lower prices?
Are repositioning cruises usually the lowest priced?
Re-positioning cruises can be a great price, but factor in higher air travel since it will be 2 one way flights, not a round trip. I have done 2 Europe to USA transatlantic re-positioning and enjoyed both of them. Five days in a row at sea are nice and relaxing if your on a good ship.
We did an Alaska cruise starting in Vancouver and ending in San Francisco. Hubby did all the booking (it was for our anniversary), so I don't know the price, but it was enjoyable.
We went on a repositioning cruise on the Carnival Miracle. Cruise rate was cheap, but had to fly to New York from Texas, then had to fly from California back to Texas, but the trip was worth it, one of the best cruises out of the 14 we have taken
