Are Fanny packs considered a personal item?

My DD refuses to let me even think about a fanny pack. Personally, I think they are the best thing since sliced bread. I don't push the issue because she does give me a pass on my tasteful lanyard pouch as long as I wear it as a cross-body bag.

Yep. Don’t ever see fanny packs anymore here at the airport. Right now hanging out at counter with CSA’s. They are helping a passenger that was stranded here by “friends”. Not the first time I’ve seen this. They were suppose to pick him up hours ago. Poor guy doesn’t know a lick of English. Whoops I think I’m detailing another thread.

Back on topic, take that fanny pack ma’am and have a great trip. 👍

Well JC she is a woman so she could get away with wearing one. But cmon.. It's gay for a dude.... Hope you're well buddy. Lol.

I admit that one reason I stopped wearing mine was because I was getting tired of being teased. But it's an item your wearing so it won't count. (Spirit Air and Allegiant Air might be exceptions since they look for any and all ways to charge you more.) Another reason that I stopped wearing them is because thieves target people with them on. It only takes an experienced thief a second or two with a very sharp knife or a razor to slice the strap and run off with someone's pack.
