Anybody remember the Norway?

I was lucky to sail on her 7 times. A great classic style liner. I hated to see it go to the choppers. :(

I took my very first cruise on the Norway. I also hated to hear about her demise. Loved walking down the stairs to the Main Dining Room and having a Margarita waiting for me at my table. Absolutely great memories of a grand ship.

We really liked the Promenade deck. It went all the way around the ship. They just don't build 'em like that anymore. :(

It was a great ship.. we felt so elegant cruising on her. Sad to see her not in service any longer. But..we are proud to say we sailed on her. :)

We sailed her in 1980 or so, funny we meet an officer with duty on the Pride on America that was working on board the Norway when we sailed her in the 80's....small world.

Yes, you just never know who you will meet up with. People seem to stay with the same line for years.
