Anybody remember Jubilee and Celebration

My second cruise was on the Jubilee and my fourth was on the Celebration.  I enjoyed both of these ships even though they are considered "small" now.  I hate to see the older ships go away...makes me know I'm getting old myself!  I will be taking cruise number 12 next year on RCI's Symphony of the Seas...quite a difference from the Jubilee and Celebration.  Did anyone sail on either of these 2 ships before they were put out to pasture?  How did you like them?

Our first cruise on the Jubilee in 1995. That’s the cruise that got us hooked!

Sadly, before our time. Our first cruise was on the Holiday...the last of the small ships.

The Holiday! Our third cruise!

Great picture!

Our first-ever cruise was aboard Jubilee in 1996 and our second cruise was aboard Celebration in 1998.  80 cruises later we still remember falling in love with cruising because of those ships!

Boarding Carnival’s Jubilee for our first cruise!

Saw the Celebration in 2014 in Venice, Italy, sailing as the Grand Celebration for Ibero Cruises.

Celebration, renamed the Grand Celebration, is currently sailing two night cruises to Freeport from the Port of Palm Beach, Florida for Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.

Is this the same cruise line that had the problem a few years ago with their ship listing in port in the Bahamas?  I never did hear what they did about that.  The ship at this time looked like a converted ferry.

the food they served back then was gourmet. todays food quality is down right mediocre.I sailed on the Jubilee back in 95 and thought how could one survive with all the food they served, including the midnight buffet every night.now your lucky if you get a gala buffet once.the smaller ships were cozy yet roomy and the staff were the best.not boasting but i have been on 40 cruises,so there is my reply
