Anybody have any Pre-New Year rituals?

I change all my passwords and throw out anything expired ...

I'm a bit of a Scrooge on New Years - to me its just another work daySad

Usually DH and I go to a movie and dinner and are home early enough to ring in the new year on NY time... even though we are in the west. This year we are going to a party in our neighbourhood so we can just walk home, and again, it's being celebrated when the ball drops in NYC.

I usually prepare the snack we are bringing to the host for the party we are going to for the New Year party.

We stay as far away as possible from the craziness of the "strip" but watch all the fireworks from our yard. If we manage to stay up until 9 pm Wink

Nod off about 9:00PM, wake up around 2:30AM, wake DH and wish him Happy New Year, then head off to bed.

I prepare some appetizers to enjoy whether we attend a party, visit with friends or just stay home. This year there is a big New Year's Eve Party where we live.
